This piece is sculpted by Luca Christini and painted by Italian artist Rafaele Nalin. It is inspired by a Troiani
painting. Briefly produced by Glory, it soon withdrawn from the market due to it's resemblance of the Trioani painting.
Soldatini magazine featured this same model as the cover and a lead article in 1997. ( Soldatini issue 6 May 97 )
I was fortunate enough to purchase the original piece from Luca Christini at Glory Miniatures. This is thus a unique
piece .It is the partner of the 9th NY Zouave figure.
