The groundwork. The main feature is a tree sculpted over the Andea offering from the "Robin
Hood" kit. I bent it, reshaped and sculpted, to represent a dead bushveld tree. The grass is glued in virtually blade by blade.

The figures. The two figures are constructed from dismembered kits from Pegaso, Alpha and
Andrea. The casual sleepy pose of the redcoat called for large scale reworking of the legs.

The British Infantryman. The Pegaso face has been reworked, married to the Alpha torso and
the Andrea legs (Robin Hood). Magic sculpt now fills in the details, reworks the folds and adds coat tails.

The Boer. This is a conversion of the Pegaso Berdan rifleman kit. The kit was stripped of
detail, preserving the pose and propotions. The trouser legs needed to be resculpted. A beard is added and a Boer style
slouch hat. (Magic sculpt).
